ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable data models and data pipelines in Snowflake for procurement and AI-driven applications. You will work with SQL, dbt and ELT processes, translating business requirements into robust data solutions.

The role requires expertise in SAP MM data structures, excellent English communication, and the ability to work independently in an international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or a comparable field.
• Extensive experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehouse Development, ideally with procurement/ERP data.
• Expert knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Data Warehouse Design and ELT/ETL frameworks.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data models and data pipelines in Snowflake for procurement and AI-driven applications.
• Build and optimize complex SQL transformations using dbt and implement robust ELT processes for SAP procurement data.
• Translate business requirements into efficient data solutions and create reusable semantic layers for analytics and AI use cases.
• Ensure high data quality through validation frameworks, monitoring, reconciliation processes and governance standards.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, business analysts, cloud teams and procurement experts while driving technical improvements.
