Overview

Location: North Rhine-Westphalia (Hybrid). Our client is seeking a skilled Cloud Data Architect to advance its Azure-based big data platform. This role suits someone driven to shape modern data architectures that support analytics and data products in a dynamic enterprise setting.

Experience in (GCP is ok).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Azure-based data architectures.
• Advise on cloud data strategy, best practices, and technology choices.
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and stakeholder workshops.
• Develop PoCs, prototypes, and MVPs using modern data tools.
• Support project delivery, including implementation and documentation.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.
• Stay up to date on emerging data technologies.

Your Profile

• Experience building and optimising big data pipelines and workflows
• Proficient in two or more languages (e.g., Python, Scala)
• Familiar with distributed systems (e.g., Spark, Kafka)
• Knowledge of NoSQL and cloud-native streaming tools
• Ability to evaluate architecture options.
