A leading climate-focused foundation in Hamburg is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to enhance their climate data systems and analytics. In this role, you will conduct quantitative modeling, develop analytical tools, and visualize data on climate change and sustainability. You should have a strong background in data analytics and visualization, along with 7–9 years of relevant professional experience, including proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Join an enthusiastic team aimed at making a positive climate impact.
As Senior Data Analyst of the Kuehne Climate Center (KCC), you will play a key role in building KCC’s internal data and intelligence systems related to climate change, sustainability, and GHG emission analytics. The position covers the entire knowledge value chain — from data research, cleaning, and structuring to quantitative analysis, modelling, visualization, and insight generation. While focused on climate and sustainability, the Senior Data Analyst will collaborate across themes and teams to deliver high‑quality analytical outputs. The Senior Data Analyst is also expected to lead the development of new analytical methods and tools and support the development of KCC’s knowledge strategy together with the Head of Knowledge & Analytics.
The Senior Data Analyst reports to the Head of Knowledge & Analytics and works closely with the Data Analyst, the Researcher, the Communications Department, and the Management & Operations Team to co‑produce analytical outputs and knowledge products.

The Foundation is independent, operational and international.
The KCC implements the Foundation’s climate action mandate. Its mission is to accelerate climate‑compatible development within and through logistics systems. KCC works through applied research and thought leadership, project and advisory work, and training and capacity building, with a particular focus on countries of the Global South.

From here, we manage and support all our global projects, actively partnering with our regional teams and with institutions from around the world. As a young and fast‑growing organization, KCC offers the opportunity to help shape an ambitious institution from its early stages.
