Accountabilities
  • Provide legal guidance on a wide range of commercial topics such as SaaS agreements, licensing contracts, technology transactions, and strategic customer or vendor negotiations.
  • Advise on data protection and privacy regulations, with a focus on GDPR compliance, internal privacy programs, and ongoing regulatory developments in the EU and DACH region.

  • At least 10 years of post-qualification experience, including substantial in-house experience in the software or SaaS sector.
  • Strong expertise in GDPR and European privacy frameworks, with the ability to interpret, implement, and operationalize compliance requirements.
  • Solid experience managing complex commercial negotiations and drafting technology-related contracts.
  • Ability to work independently, handle diverse legal issues, and navigate a fast-moving business environment.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with a business-oriented approach.
  • Open to candidates based in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, or Denmark.
  • Preferred: experience in multinational tech environments, and familiarity with intellectual property, employment regulations, and broader European privacy frameworks.
Benefits
  • Flexible remote work environment within a global, fast-growing organization.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and regional standards.
  • Comprehensive healthcare contributions.
  • Equity or stock options available for new team members.
  • Flexible time off or generous local leave entitlements depending on country of residence.
  • Support for home-office setup where applicable.
