cosnova GmbH is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Controller to be the central Controlling interface for our Supply Chain and to ensure transparent, sustainable cost management across logistics costs. You will develop analyses, create scenarios and support strategic decisions with management.

You will also drive budgeting/forecasts, collaborate across functions and contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting landscapes using Infor BI and Tableau.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or comparable qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of Controlling experience, ideally in Supply Chain/Logistics Controlling.
• FMCG industry experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven analysis, scenario planning and KPI development.
• Structured, independent work style with initiative and ownership.
• Hands-on mindset in a dynamic, international environment.
• Fluency in German and very good English, written and spoken.
• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel; SAP and BI tools are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Manage project cost controlling for warehouse expansion; work with Controlling and Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Assess profitability and financial impact of new supply chain initiatives (e.g., new DCs or external warehouses).
• Analyze cost structures and drivers; develop optimization measures affecting strategic decisions.
• Develop and enhance reporting landscape; leverage AI, improve Infor BI/Tableau dashboards.

As a Senior Supply Chain Controller, you are the central Controlling interface for our Supply Chain organization and ensure transparency across our logistics costs, particularly as a basis for strategic decisions. Together with the relevant departments, you develop sound analyses, create scenarios and identify optimization potential across the entire supply chain.

• At the heart of your responsibilities is the controlling of all logistics costs – particularly warehousing, freight and destruction costs – as well as ensuring transparent and sustainable cost management.
• Your responsibilities also include annual budgeting and intra-year forecasts for your area, as well as deriving volume planning based on our sales planning.
• Another key focus is responsibility for selected month-end closing activities, particularly in connection with product destruction, inventory write-downs and the reconciliation of relevant systems.
• In close collaboration with our logistics site in Butzbach as well as the Supply Chain, Planning and Finance teams, you support sound business decisions.
• In addition, you manage project cost controlling for the expansion of our warehouse and work closely with local Controlling and Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Assessing the profitability and financial impact of new supply chain initiatives – such as new distribution centers or external warehouses – provides an important basis for strategic decisions.
• By analyzing cost structures and cost drivers, you identify optimization potential, develop measures for the sustainable management of our supply chain costs and thereby influence strategic decisions.
• You are also responsible for the continuous development of our systems and reporting landscape. In doing so, you simplify your day-to-day work, evaluate the use of AI, optimize reports and dashboards in Infor BI and Tableau, and create meaningful foundations for decision-making.

• A degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable commercial qualification
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in Controlling, ideally with a focus on Supply Chain or Logistics Controlling. We also welcome motivated Controllers with experience in related Controlling functions who are eager to expand into Supply Chain topics
• Experience in the FMCG industry is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills combined with a solid understanding of business processes and a passion for data-driven analysis, scenario planning and KPI development
• A structured and independent way of working, paired with a high level of initiative and ownership
• A hands-on mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, international environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial topics into clear, audience-appropriate insights
• A collaborative team player with curiosity, flexibility and an openness to new topics and projects
• Fluency in German and very good English, both written and spoken, is essential for working successfully within our international team and organization
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel; experience with SAP and Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Infor BI and/or Tableau) is considered a plus
