NVision Quantum Technologies in Ulm is seeking a Senior Controller (m/f/d) to strengthen financial steering through robust forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting. You will work with the Head of Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to build a scalable, compliant finance function for a fast-growing company.

The role requires 6+ years in controlling, expertise in IFRS and HGB dual reporting, and strong English with good German. Hybrid work two days onsite in Ulm is offered.

Your mission

We are looking for a Senior Controller (m/f/d) to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening our financial steering by establishing robust forecasting and controlling processes, delivering data-driven insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with the Head of Finance and stakeholders across the company, you will help build a scalable finance function that enables NVision's continued growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Support and continuously elevate corporate budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes to support public market readiness and strategic decision-making.
• Develop, monitor, and enhance management reporting, KPI dashboards, and financial insights across the organization.
• Lead and support the implementation of dual financial reporting (IFRS, HGB), partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, and external advisors to establish scalable reporting structures and ensure compliance with international reporting requirements.
• Lead the controlling and management-reporting side of our dual financial reporting system, ensuring variance analyses and forecasts align seamlessly across frameworks.
• Act as the Finance team's go-to expert for IFRS, advising on reporting implications, consolidation requirements, and best practices.
• Support financial consolidation and group reporting across NVision's international entities.
• Drive automation and digitalization initiatives within Finance and Controlling to improve efficiency, reporting quality, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial analyses, business cases, and recommendations for strategic initiatives and investments.
• Continuously improve finance processes, internal controls, and reporting standards to support a growing international organization.

Your profile

• Educational background in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in controlling, ideally in an international MedTech, Life Sciences, or high-growth technology environment.
• Extensive hands-on experience with HGB and IFRS, including implementation of dual reporting, financial reporting, consolidation under both standards.
• Hands-on familiarity in revenue recognition, and profound experience in the accounting treatment and capitalization of R&D and clinical development costs.
• Strong understanding of international reporting requirements and the ability to translate accounting standards into robust controlling and reporting processes.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, management reporting, and KPI development.
• Experience driving finance transformation, process optimization, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex financial topics to both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
• Excellent English and good German skills.
• Willingness to come to the Office in Ulm at least two days per week.
