Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to manage general ledger integrity and multi-client closes. You will review statements, KPIs, and provide actionable insights while directing AP, AR, cash management, and treasury operations.

You’ll drive GAAP-compliant processes, optimize chart of accounts, and lead system integrations with Sage Intacct, NetSuite, and Clio. A coaching leadership style will help develop junior staff and deliver top-tier client service.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years’ experience in either a law firm or a non-profit organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA desired.
• 3+ years client-facing outsourced accounting experience and 4+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong experience with financial systems and integrations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct, LMS, and NetSuite, Firm software Acumatica, and Clio.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and U.S. tax concepts.
• Proven project management and organizational skills.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
• A coaching-oriented leadership style with a passion for developing others.

Aufgaben

• Oversee general ledger integrity through account analysis, reconciliations, and financial accuracy.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple client engagements.
• Review financial statements, management reports, KPIs, and business insights.
• Direct core accounting operations, including AP, AR, cash management, and treasury.
• Optimize clients' chart of accounts, accounting processes, and reporting structures.
• Ensure GAAP compliance while identifying and mitigating accounting and regulatory risks.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance.
• Drive process improvements through automation, technology, and scalable solutions.
• Partner with clients to improve profitability, cash flow, and operational performance.
• Mentor, coach, and develop accounting staff while fostering technical excellence.
• Collaborate with Client CFOs and internal teams to deliver exceptional client service.
• Lead system implementations, special projects, and initiatives that support firm growth.
