Proxima is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Directs practice. You will lead complex workstreams, manage senior stakeholders, and mentor junior consultants while delivering innovative, measurable outcomes for clients across manufacturing and industrial sectors.

You will work in client-facing teams on commercial, sourcing, and supplier initiatives, developing insights, contributing to solution design, and driving delivery, not just recommendations, in a fast-paced, global firm.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Directs Procurement, preferably within manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience across categories such as manufacturing, fabrication, industrial, commodity, supply chain, value chain, value engineering.
• Experience supporting project delivery and managing stakeholder engagement across workstreams.
• Strong analytical capability and comfort working with data.

The opportunity

As a Senior Consultant at Proxima in our Directs practice, you will lead complex workstreams and manage senior stakeholders while delivering innovative solutions and mentoring junior consultants. You will be part of client-facing teams delivering high-impact commercial, sourcing, and supplier initiatives, supporting the development of insights, contributing to solution design, and playing an active role in delivering outcomes, not just recommendations.

This is not a passive learning role. At Proxima, we are practitioner-consultants. You will build experience quickly, take responsibility early, and work alongside clients to deliver real, measurable change.

What you bring

Experience and skills

• Consulting experience, ideally within Directs Procurement, ideally gained within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Experience working across different category areas, including any of the following: manufacturing, fabrication, industrial, commodity, BOM, COGS, supply chain, value chain, value engineering, specification, components, equipment, raw materials, bags, bottle, bulk packaging, cans, closures, corrugated, drums, fiber, plastics, metal.
• A background within Automotive, utilities, aerospace and/or chemicals would be advantageous.
• Experience supporting project delivery and managing stakeholder engagement across workstreams.
• Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data.
