AOE is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to drive design, migration, and integration of customer workloads onto the kloudease platform. You will contribute to consulting services, assess readiness, and help clients optimize cloud usage.

You will explain complex topics to customers, run workshops, and lead projects in an agile environment, with some travel to customers and a mix of remote/office work in Wiesbaden.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in DevOps with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong knowledge of IaaC and infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools.
• Excellent German and English communication; willingness to travel to customers.

Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (m/w/d)

Hey, we're responsible for Cloud and DevOps architecture at AOE. At the heart of our work is kloudease, our managed, cloud-native Kubernetes platform. It runs on STACKIT and gives our customers digital sovereignty, GDPR compliance, and independence from hyperscalers, plus on-prem deployment options, with GitOps, observability, and zero-trust security as core components.

In your role as Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (m/f/d), you'll primarily be supporting our customers' integration onto kloudease going forward, from technical design through to migration and integration. Alongside that, you'll continue to contribute to our established consulting services, for example assessing whether a customer is ready for the cloud or figuring out how to make cloud usage more cost-efficient.

As a team, we treat each other openly and respectfully, discuss things purposefully, and always meet as equals. We support one another and value learning with and from each other, for example in our cross-project DevOps Community of Practice, which meets regularly. At AOE, we make sure our DevOps tech stack stays current, and that our Techradar stays state-of-the-art.

Within the team, we work autonomously and use agile methods to organize our work. Some team members come into the Wiesbaden office once a week, but most of the time we work remotely.

• You are part of a new unit for the area of Cloud and DevOps architecture with a lot of creative freedom, opportunities to continuously learn new things and carry out projects at a high technical level
• You can explain complex topics to customers in a target group-oriented way and support them by means of competence development and knowledge transfer in the Cloud and DevOps environment
• You like the mix of planning and implementation, which is why you are both responsible for conceptions in the Cloud and DevOps environment of our customers as well as hands‑on involved in the implementation
• You ensure a professional execution of workshops and trainings for our customers
• You successfully manage projects for our customers both independently and as part of a team

• Several years of experience in DevOps with a focus on at least one of the major cloud providers AWS, Azure, STACKIT or GCP
• Extensive knowledge in the areas of IaaC and Infrastructure Automation as well as with Kubernetes, Terraform, Grafana and Prometheus, ideally tool-related or cloud certifications are available
• Independent, agile work, willingness to share know‑how and professional appearance towards customers are a matter of course for you
• Business fluent written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to travel to customers on a small scale for project‑related reasons
