Talent-Relay Limited is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build and operate a cloud-native geospatial data platform powering satellite imagery workflows. You will work across teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments that support everything from data delivery to satellite tasking.

You will operate in a 90% remote setup across Brussels and EU hubs, collaborating with engineers, analysts, and product teams.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience building and operating cloud environments in fast-paced, remote-first settings.
• Hands-on AWS experience (S3, EKS, EC2, IAM).
• Proficient with Python, Docker, Terraform, Terramate, Ansible.
• Strong DevSecOps, CI/CD, and TDD knowledge.
• Eligible for Security Clearance (SC).
• Experience in Earth Observation (EO) or NewSpace startups.
• Familiarity with cloud security topics.

We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and operate a cloud-native geospatial data platform and satellite operations infrastructure. You’ll work across teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments that power everything from satellite tasking to data delivery.

This role blends infrastructure engineering with DevSecOps, automation, and geospatial data workflows. You’ll be a key contributor to the technical backbone—and a force multiplier for our engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with infrastructure, software, product, and imagery teams to translate requirements into robust cloud solutions
• Design and implement components of our Cloud-Native Geospatial Data Platform for data acquisition, processing, and dissemination
• Support Mission Operations with cloud infrastructure for satellite control, alerting, and tasking
• Own and evolve our cloud environment to empower engineering teams with best‑in‑class tools and methodologies
• Evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks to keep our stack cutting‑edge
• Mentor junior cloud engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Proven experience building and operating cloud environments in fast‑paced, remote‑first settings
• Hands‑on experience with AWS (S3, EKS, EC2, IAM
• Python, Docker, Terraform, Terramate, Ansible
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps, infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD, and TDD
• Strong team player with a proactive mindset and a drive to challenge the status quo
• Eligible for Security Clearance (SC)
