Jobtailor in Köln seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to design and build cloud-native infrastructure powering the media supply chain. You will lead AWS Serverless implementations and own end-to-end APIs and data pipelines across systems.

You will mentor engineers, drive AI-assisted development practices, ensure code quality, and partner with stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable media workflows.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a comparable role.
• Deep practical experience with AWS Serverless services, including Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Proficiency in TypeScript as the primary development language.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, such as AWS CDK or comparable tools.
• Solid understanding of event-driven and eventual consistency architecture patterns.
• Experience building robust APIs and integrations between heterogeneous systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and toolchains such as Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Openness to shaping AI-assisted development practices.
• Bonus: experience with media-adjacent workflows such as transcoding, AWS Elemental Services, or localisation pipelines.
• Bonus: first hands-on experience with generative or agentic AI solutions.
