Job summary

SAP IT Business Systeme is seeking a Senior Business Process Consultant (f/m/d) for Supply Chain Planning. Based in Germany, you will lead end-to-end SAP planning implementations for discrete manufacturing, integrating IBP/PP/DS and other SAP planning tools while guiding strategic design decisions.

You will work with a team across Europe, facilitating workshops with executives, and advancing AI-enabled processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP supply chain planning and end-to-end implementations in discrete manufacturing.
• Strong business process analysis and management skills across supply chains (demand planning, S&OP, response & supply, or production planning).
• Expertise in SAP planning integration technologies IBP (CI-DS, Core Integration, Datasphere, RTI) or PP/DS (CIF).
• Ability to think strategically and guide customers through complex design decisions.
• Fluency in German and English.

What you'll bring

You bring deep expertise in SAP supply chain planning and a track record of leading end-to-end implementations in discrete manufacturing.

• Proven experience as a solution architect, project manager, or lead consultant in SAP planning implementations — with a strong business architecture background and knowledge of APO, IBP, PP/DS, or aATP
• Strong business process analysis and management skills applied across discrete manufacturing supply chains, including demand planning, S&OP, response and supply, or production planning
• Expertise in at least one SAP planning integration technology: IBP (CI-DS, Core Integration, Datasphere, RTI) or PP/DS (CIF)
• Strategic thinking and experience in scenario testing to evaluate planning options and guide customers through complex design decisions
• A degree in business informatics, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Fluency in German and English is required for this role.

You will lead supply chain planning implementations for discrete manufacturing customers — from solution architecture to go-live — as a trusted advisor across the project lifecycle.
