Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Backend & Platform Engineer who takes ownership of building and evolving our core services supporting our products around training and inference. This role is about designing and implementing high-quality backend systems, shaping architecture through hands‑on work, and continuously improving how we build, deploy, and operate software. You’ll be a key contributor to system design, API quality, data modeling, and engineering processes—working closely with both backend and AI engineers.

Your profile

Qualifications:

• Strong professional experience with Python backend development
• Familiarity with async Python and performance optimization in FastAPI
• Solid expertise in database design and data modeling
• Strong understanding of API design, service boundaries, and system architecture
• Experience with distributed systems or microservices
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks
• Understanding of stateful AI workflows, tool integration, and orchestration patterns

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying and scaling LLM/VLM-powered, self-hosted ML models and/or agent-based systems in production, preferable experience with Ray Serve
• Exposure to vector databases or retrieval systems (RAG)

Education

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer science or another quantitative science
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Fluent in English
