Solaris, Berlin-based, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join a core product engineering team. You’ll design scalable, secure backend systems from architecture to production and own end-to-end delivery of critical services in a high-scale financial context.

You will drive architectural decisions, focus on reliability and observability, and collaborate with product and engineering peers to align technical work with business goals.

• Strong experience building and operating cloud-native applications on GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Your Role

We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join one of our core product engineering teams in shaping the future of digital banking. You'll collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and fellow engineers to build secure, resilient, and reliable banking solutions. In this role, you'll work with other senior members of Solaris to break down complex requirements and drive the design, implementation, delivery, and operation of complex, high-scale financial services solving critical business and technical challenges.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:
