I'm currently working with a leading cloud software company that is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team.

You'll be building the internal platform that powers an entire engineering organization, creating the infrastructure, tooling, and developer experience that enables product teams to move faster and build better software.

What you'll be working on:

• Internal Developer Platform (DSL, compiler & runtime)
• Platform infrastructure and product services
• CI/CD, observability, and developer tooling
• AI-enabled engineering workflows and tooling
• Systems and services used across multiple product teams

What they're looking for:

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong software architecture and system design skills
• Experience building APIs and scalable backend services
• Ownership mindset from design through production
• Kubernetes knowledge and production environment experience
• Interest in AI-assisted development and engineering productivity
• Nice-to-have: PHP, Kotlin, Rust, MongoDB, Grafana, Jenkins, experience with LLM integration or Agentic workflows.
• Fluent German
