N26 is seeking a Senior Atlassian Consultant in Berlin to own and optimize our Atlassian stack. You will translate high-level business goals into scalable Jira/Confluence architectures, drive end-to-end delivery, and continuously evolve the ecosystem in a regulated banking context.

You will lead integrations, develop customizations with Groovy and Atlassian APIs, and mentor teams while ensuring robust governance and documentation. Fluent English required and relocation support available.

Qualifikationen

• .5+ years (min 3+) hands-on Jira, JSM, Confluence administration in enterprise environments.
• Experience in a regulated financial services context is a strong plus.
• Deep proficiency with JQL, Automations, Atlassian APIs, Assets and Scriptrunner (Groovy).
• Comfort with communicating across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Analytics or Forge is a plus.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Atlassian Consultant to join our team at N26. This role is designed for an Atlassian technical expert who thrives in a high-growth, evolving FinTech landscape. You won't just be managing tools; you will be optimizing the way our entire organization collaborates.

In this role, you will:

• Translate Vision into Reality: Act as a key partner to stakeholders, taking broad business objectives and refining them into sophisticated, high-impact technical solutions within the Atlassian suite.
• Drive Independent Project Life-Cycles: Lead initiatives from discovery and requirements gathering through to design, build, and global rollout. You will have full ownership of the delivery process.
• Continuous Ecosystem Evolution: Proactively identify opportunities to modernize our setup. You will independently detect friction points and propose innovative ways to enhance organizational velocity.
• Engineer Advanced Customizations: Extend the standard capabilities of Jira and Confluence through custom scripting (Scriptrunner/Groovy) and high-level use of Atlassian APIs. You will build the "glue" that connects our processes.
• Architect Versatile Workflows: Design and implement custom Jira configurations that are robust enough for a regulated bank but flexible enough for an agile tech company.
• Data-Driven Storytelling: Utilize advanced reporting and analytics to provide leadership with clear visibility into operational health and project progress.
• Technical Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert, coaching teams on best practices and ensuring our internal documentation is a "gold standard" resource.

What you need to be successful:

• Professional Seniority: 5+ years (minimum 3+) of hands-on experience in Jira, JSM, and Confluence administration within enterprise environments.
• Conceptual Agility: You are comfortable working from high-level briefs and enjoy the process of "discovery"—asking the right questions to build a clear, structured path forward.
• Financial Services Context: Experience in a regulated environment is a strong plus, helping you balance innovation with compliance and security standards.
• The Technical Edge:
  • Core: Deep proficiency in JQL, Automations, Atlassian APIs, Assets and Scriptrunner (Groovy).
• Communication Mastery: You can navigate conversations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned on the solution. Fluent English is a must.
• Deep expertise: in Jira administration, workflow customization, stakeholder management, and best practices for scalable implementation across diverse teams
• Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Analytics or the Forge framework.
  • Knowledge about ITIL/ITSM
  • Knowledge of product and software development lifecycle
