Job Overview
Are you interested in financial markets? Do you follow the latest trends and developments in the area of indexing and exchange-traded funds (ETFs)? Are you thrilled to create market-leading flagship indices such as the Solactive Global Benchmark Series for our broad client base? When facing business challenges, do you act solution-oriented and reliable? Are you eager to translate investment ideas into new products and services? If that sounds familiar, you will very likely fit into our team!
Your Tasks
- Developing core equity products similar to our Global Benchmark Series with a focus on the strategic index offering
- Developing custom index strategies in cooperation with our reputable, global client base
- Calculating historical performance simulations (back-testing) for new investment strategies
- Supporting clients and internal stakeholders with technical and professional expertise in benchmark strategies
- Drafting index guidelines and supporting documents/analysis
- Coordinating internal processes with our operations, sales and marketing teams for a successful launch
- Academic degree in Economics, (quantitative) Finance, Business Engineering or comparable programs
- Affinity for capital markets
- High proficiency level in Microsoft Excel and Python is essential
- 3-6 years of practical experience in the index business or a comparable field
- Experience with data vendor terminals is a plus (e.g. FactSet, Reuters or Bloomberg)
- Highly motivated to work independently, and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
