Zusammenfassung

H&Z seeks a Senior Associate Operations to drive change at client sites, shaping processes and delivering sustainable improvements in manufacturing industries. You will join on-site project teams at national and international clients, taking ownership of modules in Operational Excellence while applying Lean, Six Sigma, TPM and related methods.

Build long-term client relationships and understand client challenges in operations.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree from a reputable university.
• At least 3 years of professional or consulting experience in a management consultancy or operations environment in industry.
• Experience taking ownership of project modules in Operations across various industries.
• Solid understanding of operations processes with interest in Lean, production optimization and digitalisation.
• Industry knowledge in Automotive, Mechanical and Plant Engineering or Defence & Aviation is ideal.
• Fluent in German and English; other languages are a plus.
• Analytical and structured thinking with strong interpersonal skills.

Any time, permanent, frequently at our clients' sites during the week, typically in our offices in Munich, Cologne or Hamburg on Fridays

Your mission

• As a (Senior) Associate, you shape change, get to the heart of processes and contribute to sustainable improvements at the client
• You are part of the project teams on-site at our national and international clients, taking independent ownership of project modules in the field of Operational Excellence, particularly in manufacturing industries (e.g. mechanical and plant engineering, automotive)
• You analyse value chains and business processes to identify efficiency potential
• Building on this, you develop tailored improvement concepts applying Lean, Six Sigma, TPM or similar methodologies
• You support the development of long-term client relationships and build a deep understanding of our clients' requirements and challenges in the operations environment
• You work closely with project managers as well as internal and external stakeholders
• You are eager to look beyond your immediate scope and contribute to subject-matter topics in adjacent areas e.g. in Strategy, Supply Chain Management or Procurement
• You help sharpen our profile as a leading consultancy for operations topics, particularly in key industries such as Automotive, Mechanical and Plant Engineering and Defence & Aviation

Your profile

• A completed master's degree from a reputable university
• At least 3 years of professional or consulting experience at a management consultancy or in an operations environment at an industrial company
• Initial experience in taking independent ownership of project modules in the field of Operations across various industries
• A solid understanding of operations processes as well as an interest in Lean methodologies, production optimisation and digitalisation
• Industry knowledge ideally in Automotive, Mechanical and plant Engineering or Defence & Aviation
• You are fluent in German and English and perhaps an additional language
