Zusammenfassung

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Senior Associate (f/m/d) in Transaction Support in Munich to drive leading roles in buy- and sell-side M&A projects. You will conduct financial due diligence, valuations, and accounting assessments, and collaborate with Corporate M&A and business teams across Siemens worldwide.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, IFRS knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office; German language skills are advantageous.

Qualifikationen

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, or accounting.
  • Several years of professional experience in Transaction Advisory, Deals, Corporate Finance, Valuation or Financial Due Diligence.
  • Experience in M&A with financial due diligence, valuation, business plan modelling or controlling.
  • Familiarity with M&A documentation and purchase agreements (SPAs) is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with sound business judgement and genuine interest in M&A and corporate finance.
  • Knowledge of IFRS; a CPA/ACCA/ACA/CFA or similar qualification is advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office; Power BI/Alteryx or similar tools beneficial.
  • Languages: English strong; German or additional languages are a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Taking a leading role in smaller global buy- and sell-side M&A projects and contributing on larger transactions with Corporate M&A and business teams.
  • Performing financial due diligence procedures, valuations, analyses, and accounting assessments; help formulate messages for negotiation teams and senior management.
  • Supporting preparation and analysis of special purpose financial statements when required.
  • Acting as a key contact for the financial workstream throughout transaction processes.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Siemens stakeholders worldwide across M&A, Legal, Accounting & Controlling, and management teams.
  • Contributing to digitalization initiatives and enhancing analytics capabilities, processes, and tools.
  • Supporting other strategic and finance-related projects as opportunities arise.
  • Business travel is limited (<10%).

Your toolkit for success.
  • Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience & Skills:
  • Several years of professional experience in a Transaction Advisory, Deals, Corporate Finance, Valuation, or Financial Due Diligence practice at a leading advisory firm (Big Four or comparable)
  • Experience in M&A transactions with exposure to financial due diligence, valuation, business plan modelling, or business/performance/project controlling
  • Familiarity with M&A documentation and purchase agreements (SPAs) is beneficial
  • Combining strong analytical capabilities with sound business judgement and a genuine interest in M&A and corporate finance
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS; a CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA, or similar professional qualification is advantageous
  • Demonstrating advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Alteryx, or similar analytical tools is beneficial
  • Ways of working:
  • You bring an empathetic, honest, authentic communication style enabling you to easily collaborate with internal collaborators and external advisors and navigate various levels of the Siemens organization (including top management)
  • You are flexible, result oriented, proactive and have a hands-on mentality to get things done in a dynamic environment
  • Languages: Highly proficient English skills, both written and spoken; German or additional languages are an advantage
