N26 Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate, Corporate Finance to own the Funds Transfer Pricing framework and drive treasury planning.

You will work with the Treasury team to assess profitability, allocate capital, and define incentives across business units, leveraging SQL for scalable reporting. You'll join a hands-on team focused on risk transfer, capital planning, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic European fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in bank treasury or financial services.
• Deep understanding of balance sheet management, deposits and capital planning.
• Advanced Excel; SQL querying skills are highly valued.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Own FTP framework maintenance and evolution to steer balance sheet profitability.
• Manage treasury data consolidation, PnL, and core KPIs reporting.
• Lead multi-year budgeting and strategic planning with Treasury/Finance.
• Document assumptions and models for audits and regulatory readiness.
• Upgrade reporting pipelines with SQL to reduce data bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with ALM, STIRM, Risk and Finance for compliance and alignment.

About the opportunity

As Senior Associate, Corporate Finance, you will own and execute the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework, while also driving the treasury planning. Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Finance within the Treasury team, you will play a vital role in risk transfer, assessing profitability, allocating capital, and defining incentives for business units by assigning net interest income.

What You’ll Do

• FTP Ownership: Maintain and evolve the internal FTP regime to centralize liquidity and interest rate risks, pricing risk accurately to steer balance sheet profitability.
• Treasury Controlling & Reporting: Own day-to-day data consolidation, PnL monitoring, and tracking of core Treasury KPIs.
• Planning & Forecasting: Partner with Treasury and Finance to drive the multi-year budget and strategic planning process.
• Audit & Regulatory Readiness: Lead the documentation of technical assumptions and balance sheet models for internal/external audits.
• Data & Automation: Upgrade reporting pipelines using SQL to eliminate data bottlenecks and scale infrastructure.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with ALM, Short-Term Desk (STIRM), Risk, and Finance to ensure regulatory compliance and strategic alignment.

What You Bring

• Experience: 3+ years in Bank Treasury, Financial Services, or Top-Tier Consulting.
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of bank balance sheet management, deposit modeling, capital planning, and European regulatory frameworks (CRR, CRD IV/V, KWG).
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency; strong SQL skills are a major plus.
• Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a quantitative field.

What you need to be successful:

• Professional Experience: 3+ years of professional experience within a Top Tier consulting firm, financial services firm, or digital bank.
• Treasury Foundations: Clear theoretical understanding and practical experience within bank treasury structures.
• Modeling Frameworks: Strong interest or exposure to structural financial concepts such as funds transfer pricing mechanisms, capital planning and deposit modeling.
• Technical Toolkit: Demonstrated capability handling spreadsheet applications (Excel); advanced data querying skills (SQL) are highly valued.
• Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Quantitative Economics, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Regulatory Awareness: Solid operational understanding of the European regulatory landscape, including banking guidelines and frameworks relevant to capital, leverage, and interest rate (e.g., CRR, CRD IV, KWG frameworks).
