GROPYUS in Berlin is seeking a Building Systems Designer to advance the timber residential building system through LP5 stage development.

You will coordinate with Engineering, MEP, Building Physics, Acoustics, Fire Protection and Energy Design and implement state-of-the-art solutions for the Building Product.

The role emphasizes DfMA, sustainability, cost efficiency, and continuous product evolution within series and change management, with a strong emphasis on user centricity.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of LP5 stage project experience in Germany, focused on technical detailed design of the envelope and structural works.
• Solid knowledge of German building regulations and codes.
• Experience with timber construction.
• Experience with building Class 4/5.
• Fluent in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Project development in LP5 stage.
• Implementation of state-of-the-art architectural and technical solutions in timber residential Building Product.
• Continuous evolution of the Product within Series- and Change Management.

• Project development in stage LP5
• Implementation of state-of-the-art architectural and technical solutions in our timber residential Building Product
• Constant and controlled evolution of the Product within the Series- and Change Management
• Coordination with design disciplines like Engineering, MEP, Building Physics, Acoustics, Fire Protection, and Energy Design
• Contribute to the improvement of our Digital Value Chain in close collaboration with the Product and Technology Teams

About you

Must have

• Project experience in technical detail development of the project stage LP5 in Germany (min. 3 years), focusing on technical detailed design, particularly the building envelope and structural works
• Proficiency in relevant German building regulations and codes
• Experience in timber construction
• Experience with building class 4/5
• Fluent German and English skills

Nice to have

• Experience with residential buildings
• Experience in Revit
• Experience in AutoCAD and in Rhino
