bunch is building the operating infrastructure for the next generation of private markets. We seek an (Senior) Analytics Engineer to own the data stack end to end, from ingestion to semantic layer, feeding BI and product analytics today with future embedded analytics.

You will lead data modeling, move pipelines to dlt, ensure reliability with IaC, and operate Lightdash while enabling conversational analytics across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in analytics or data engineering with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong opinions on dimensional modeling, layering and contracts.
• dbt beyond SQL models: materializations, incremental strategies, macros, CI.
• Production-grade Python for ingestion, APIs, pagination and schema drift.
• Infra ownership with familiarity of scheduling and IaC is a plus.

We are enabling next-gen fund operations with one integrated system that combines secure data infrastructure, AI-powered workflows and expert fund services. Your Role

As a (Senior) Analytics Engineer at bunch, you'll own our data stack end to end, from ingestion to the semantic layer. It feeds our business intelligence and product analytics today, with embedded analytics likely next.

You will:

• Own data modeling and the semantic layer everything else is built on
• Move every remaining pipeline onto dlt, in Python you control
• Make the stack reliable by default: scheduling, monitoring, infrastructure as code
• Run our self-hosted Lightdash, down to the deployment
• Make conversational analytics work, so people can ask in plain language and trust the answer

About you

• Experience: 4+ years in analytics or data engineering, ideally somewhere you owned the whole stack
• Modeling: you have real opinions on dimensional modeling, layering and contracts
• dbt: you know dbt past writing sql models, so materializations, incremental strategies, macros, CI, and where it breaks
• Python: production-quality, with a proper understanding of ingestion (APIs, pagination, incremental loads, schema drift). dlt experience is a bonus
• Infrastructure: comfortable owning deployed infra, scheduling with Airflow, Dagster or similar is a plus
• Pragmatic: you start from what the business needs and you know when good enough is good enough
