Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned corporate development professional to lead M&A due diligence, capital-allocation analysis, and portfolio optimization across the group in Germany. You will drive high-impact financial analyses and partner with executive leadership to prioritize growth opportunities.

You will develop business cases, collaborate with investment bankers and advisors, communicate key insights to the C-suite, and build scalable frameworks to strengthen capital allocation discipline

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or valuation/transaction services.
• Strong understanding of valuation, investment returns, and EPS accretion/dilution.
• Ability to lead workstreams independently.
• Experience on M&A deal teams or related roles.
• Attention to detail and ability to communicate insights to leadership.
• Strategic mindset to identify growth opportunities.

• Evaluate capital allocation opportunities across M&A, organic growth projects, and portfolio optimization
• Support business case development and collaborate with business leadership and key stakeholders to drive alignment and executive support
• Perform M&A due diligence with Corporate Development and external advisors, including investment bankers and consultants
• Conduct portfolio analysis to inform prioritization, capital allocation trade-offs, and long-term strategic planning
• Develop core frameworks and infrastructure to enhance capital allocation discipline over time
• Lead financial analyses supporting high-complexity projects, primarily focused on M&A
• Partner with Corporate Development and advise senior leadership across business groups, finance, and other functional stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree
• 4+ years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or valuation / transaction services
• Strong understanding of advanced corporate finance concepts, including valuation, investment returns, and EPS accretion / dilution
• Ability to lead workstreams independently
• Experience working on M&A deal teams or in a similar capacity
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to communicate key business insights to leadership
• Strategic mindset with ability to identify and evaluate growth opportunities
• High level of self-drive, proactivity, and ownership mentality
• Broad exposure to life science tools and/or software industries is a plus
