Your assignment:
- You take technical responsibility for the development of Analog and Mixed-Signal (AMS) products for automotive applications, covering all stages from concept, design, verification, silicon evaluation, characterization, qualification, to production support.
- You act as a Technical Authority, providing technical guidance, evaluating options, consolidating technical choices, and driving the overall development of IC products.
- You own the top-level IC and system design, ensuring clear partitioning (IC analog, digital) and IP-based structuring of the design database.
- You develop circuits at the top, IP, and block levels, focusing on analog and mixed-signal components in high-voltage CMOS technologies.
- You utilize state-of-the-art design methodologies to achieve optimal results.
- You ensure the quality of development through comprehensive reviews at all development phases.
- You provide technical guidance, support, and training to design and layout engineers, co-workers, and measurement technicians.
Your Profile:
- You hold a master’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or physics, with a focus on semiconductors or microelectronics.
- You have more than 5 years of professional experience in analog circuit design and concept development.
- You bring experience in implementing LIN physical interfaces and/or HV gate-driver design, which is preferable.
- You are skilled in ESD/EMI robust circuit design.
- You have experience in managing or co-managing projects, showcasing assertiveness and a performance-oriented yet team-capable personality.
- You possess design expertise and a deep understanding of analog and mixed-signal components/IPs, such as bandgaps, amplifiers, LDOs, charge pumps, temperature sensors, ADCs, DACs, and analog filters, including ESD/EMC and Latch-Up considerations.
- You are familiar with all development phases, from concept, design, verification, evaluation, characterization, and qualification to production support.
- You have in-depth knowledge of development methods, CAD tools, and evaluation processes.
- You are experienced in organizing and moderating design reviews and tape-outs, including managing the necessary sign-off formalities.
- You have a solid understanding of semiconductor physics and semiconductor technologies.
- You possess good verbal and written English skills.
Preferred experience and background:
- You have experience in automotive electronics and safety requirements (ASIL).
- You are familiar with magnetic field sensor technology.
- You have worked with high-voltage processes such as HV-CMOS, BCD, including NVMEM.
- You have experience with production test flows.
- You have a good command of the German language.
