ML6 is seeking a senior tech lead to shape technical solutions in GenAI domains. You will design and deploy end-to-end AI systems, from data to production, with autonomy and ownership.

You will work on cutting-edge topics like autonomous AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and scalable MLOps. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus for team collaboration in Europe.

We are currently looking for senior talent to help shape the technical solutions in one of our GenAI domains (Emerging or Customer Experience).

In the Emerging Domain, you will focus on cutting-edge innovation to build what others are only reading about. You will work on topics such as autonomous AI agents, advanced work assistants, and Agentic AI platform engineering.

In the Customer Experience (CX) Domain, your focus will be on redefining the user journey. Your mission is to work on advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and conversational AI.

• Design and build end-to-end AI solutions
• Take systems from idea to production deployment
• Make architecture decisions and ensure scalability
• Lead teams of engineers
• Translate business challenges into technical solutions
• Work with Python, ML frameworks, GenAI, and cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Build scalable systems using MLOps and CI/CD
• Lend your technical expertise to client conversations to successful start new opportunities

Time allocation: 70% client project work + 30% research, internal (domain) work and more. Note that ML6 is not an outsourcing firm, our agents work on projects together with a team of colleagues where autonomy is highly valued.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of working experience as a software, ML or AI engineer
• Proven track record in delivering end-to-end solutions (to production)
• Experience within the GenAI space (currently hiring for this domain)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience leading projects or small technical teams
• Strong communication skills (technical and non-technical) in English. Command of the German language is a plus.
• Familiarity with MLOps principles and a passion for building robust, scalable systems
• Currently based in Europe, since relocation outside of Europe is not possible for this role today
