Job summary

HDI Group is seeking a senior data/GenAI engineer to foster scalable data infrastructure for GenAI solutions in a hybrid setup. You will design and refine GenAI models, prompts, and analytics components to meet business needs and deliver value.

The role requires 5+ years in data science/engineering, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience with LangChain, Transformers, and production-grade GenAI pipelines. Flexible hours and mobile work options are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, data engineering, mathematics or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science and/or data engineering roles, including GenAI work.
• Proficiency with data engineering tools and modern data architectures.
• Strong experience with ML models and testing/monitoring.
• Experience with GenAI, LLM frameworks and methods (e.g., Transformers, RLHF).
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, plus additional language.
• Experience using visualization/dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience deploying GenAI pipelines into production environments.

• Understand how (Gen)AI serves business needs and translate requirements into technically feasible, value-driven solutions

• Ensure data quality, compliance, and risk control across data ingestion, transformation, model development and deployment workflows

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in computer science, data engineering, mathematics or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data science and/or data engineering roles, including (Gen)AI-related work
• Proficiency with data engineering / data tools and modern data architetures helpful
• Strong experience in ML Models with corresponding frameworks (e.g. sklearn, ..) and how to test and monitor these
• Experience with (Gen)AI, LLM frameworks (e.g. LangChain) and methods (e.g., Transformers, RLHF, fine-tuning)
• Strong programming skills (especially Python, SQL, and at least one additional language)
• Experienced in using visualization / dashboard frameworks from Python univers (e.g. streamlit, plotly, bookeh)
• Experience deploying (Gen)AI pipelines (prompt chains, embeddings, retrieval systems, vector databases) into production environments
• Familiarity with cloud (Gen)AI platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI)
• Experience with analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
