Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH seeks a Fab Engineering Project Manager to drive industrialization of the 300mm fab and ensure readiness from project to routine operations.

You will plan ramp-up scenarios, define stable processes, and lead cross-functional teams across engineering, IT, MES/APC, and production. The role requires a master’s in engineering and several years of coordinating complex programs in an industrial setting.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience coordinating complex technical programs or projects in an industrial setting, ideally in the 300mm semiconductor sector.
• Extensive experience in ramp-up and ramp-down management of highly automated production environments.
• Excellent understanding of production systems as well as IT, MES, and APC-related control and interface topics.
• Ability to translate requirements and solutions between engineering, IT, and production.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and assertiveness skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and management communication.

• Ensuring the operational readiness (“industrialization”) of the software- and system-driven 300mm fab through to its stable transition to routine operations
• Planning, coordinating, and tracking ramp-up scenarios to achieve volume and yield targets
• Designing and implementing stable standard processes, production, and control mechanisms (KPIs, dashboards, reporting, and escalation processes)
• Establishment and implementation of stabilization and continuous improvement measures for robust continuous operation
• Technical leadership and coordination responsibility for prioritized technical workstreams (e.g., control room, transition from project to regular operations, ramp-up and pilot operation scen
• Ensuring end-to-end integration of engineering, IT, MES/APC, and production content into the overall production system
• Cross-functional interface and stakeholder management between production, engineering, IT, quality, and external partners
• Preparation of status, decision-making, and management reports, as well as preparation and facilitation of technical project and coordination meetings

Job Location: Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is a development and manufacturing facility for power transistors (power MOSFETs) with over 550 employees. Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory in Itzehoe, thereby expanding its production capacity in the future.
