Aufgaben

• Manage the infrastructure security services portfolio, lifecycle, technology roadmap and service delivery, ensuring performance, availability and business continuity
• Ensure that security services work seamlessly together and remain resilient and scalable
• Define and maintain technology standards, guidelines and procedures within the infrastructure security domain, ensuring alignment with IT governance frameworks (ITIL, ISO 27001/2, GDPR)
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements or additional solutions to address gaps
• Support solution architecture by providing security requirements, design guidance and technical reviews
• Collaborate with infrastructure architects and other towers to ensure secure-by-design solutions
• Identify and implement IT solutions that improve scalability and operational efficiency while strengthening security
• Maintain a comprehensive service catalogue and use capacity planning and CSI for consistent delivery
• Own security service delivery contracts with primary IT Vendor and supervise performance
• Support incidents and complex problems with third-party partners, minimizing production risks
• Oversee IT service management and ensure timely resolution of service requests

We want you to grow with us

We are expanding our IT Infrastructure Services team. As our next Security Services Tower Manager, you will shape and manage group-wide infrastructure security services across the IT infrastructure framework, ensuring resilient, scalable services that support Intersnack's business strategy and evolving operational needs. You will join the central IT Infrastructure Services team, reporting to the Team Lead IT Infrastructure Services and working closely with infrastructure architects, Tower Managers, the Group Information Security Officer (GISO), internal teams and external service providers. You will take end-to-end ownership of the security services portfolio, including its architecture, technology roadmap and service performance.

How you will spend your time as our next Security Services Tower Manager

You will guide infrastructure security services from architecture and control design through lifecycle management, service delivery and continuous improvement, in close collaboration with internal teams across various Intersnack locations, technology partners and service providers.

• Manage the infrastructure security services portfolio, lifecycle, technology roadmap and service delivery, ensuring performance, availability and business continuity

• Ensure that security services work seamlessly together and remain resilient and scalable

• Define and maintain technology standards, guidelines and procedures within the infrastructure security domain, ensuring alignment with IT governance frameworks, including ITIL, ISO 27001/2 and GDPR, as well as relevant industry best practices

• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements or additional solutions to address identified gaps or vulnerabilities

• Support solution architecture initiatives by providing security requirements, design guidance and technical reviews for infrastructure and security projects

• Collaborate with infrastructure architects and the Network, Cloud, Digital Workplace and Application Tower Managers to ensure secure‑by‑design solutions

• Identify and implement IT solutions in project environments that improve scalability, support new service needs, increase operational efficiency and strengthen security, contributing directly to Intersnack's digital transformation goals

• Maintain a comprehensive service catalogue and use capacity planning, performance monitoring and continual service improvement to enable consistent security service delivery across the organisation

• Own the security service delivery contracts with our primary IT Vendor, oversee vendors, service providers and internal IT personnel, and ensure effective IT service management and strong contractual performance

• Support technical incidents and complex problem resolution with third‑party partners, while managing changes to minimise production risks and ensure the timely resolution of service requests

What we expect of you

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive professional experience in IT, with proven expertise in IT service management, infrastructure environments and team or service leadership

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure security, cyber security operations or security engineering

• Good understanding of infrastructure and architecture principles, security frameworks and Zero Trust concepts

• Proven hands‑on experience with SOC, SIEM, EDR, NDR, incident response and vulnerability management

• Strong understanding of ITIL‑based service management and experience supporting global IT operations

• Experience in capacity planning, service optimisation and continuous service improvement

• Excellent communication skills and a service‑oriented approach to stakeholder and vendor management

• Familiarity with vendor management, contract performance tracking and budget awareness

• Ability to work effectively in a complex, collaborative matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi‑cultural and geographically diverse setting

• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations

• A strong command of spoken and written English is required, and knowledge of German is considered a plus

Please note: This role may involve occasional travel up to 20% to other Intersnack locations outside Düsseldorf, depending on project requirements.
