Zusammenfassung

Intersnack IT KG is seeking an ERP Test Manager to lead testing across our global ERP programme, including Infor ERP rollouts. You will own test planning, data, reporting and governance, partnering with international teams and the Application Governance Lead.

You will steer end-to-end testing from planning through SIT, UAT and readiness decisions, ensuring clear oversight of risks, priorities and delivery readiness.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Test Manager in large transformation projects, incl. ERP implementations; Infor ERP is advantageous.
• Experience coordinating unit, smoke, regression, SIT and UAT testing.
• Understanding of core processes in the food and beverage industry.
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar tools for planning; strong Jira and Zephyr Scale knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, charts, formulas, macros, dashboards).
• Knowledge of ISTQB test management principles and ITIL/PRINCE2 is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills; proactive and outcome-oriented.
• Willingness to travel ~30% per year and work in a complex matrix environment.
• Excellent English; German knowledge is a plus.

How You will spend Your Time as our next ERP Test Manager

You will steer testing from initial planning through SIT, UAT and readiness decisions, coordinating resources, environments, test data and stakeholders while maintaining clear oversight of progress, risks and priorities.

What You Will Do

• Lead end-to-end test management for assigned ERP implementation programmes, covering test strategy, plans, resources, environments, test cases, scripts and cycles


• Define, source and manage the test data strategy in collaboration with the relevant teams


• Prepare test plans using MS Project, Jira or similar tools, and coordinate priorities and schedules transparently with business stakeholders


• Manage Zephyr Scale, including test case repositories, test cycles, execution workflows and the organisation of test scripts across projects


• Support the test automation strategy by working with specialist teams to identify and prepare suitable manual test scripts


• Apply ISTQB test management principles and communicate clear roles and responsibilities to everyone involved in testing


• Lead stand-up meetings and wider stakeholder forums across SIT, UAT and other testing phases to communicate progress and address issues, risks and obstacles


• Provide daily status updates that give stakeholders a clear view of testing activities, milestones and delivery readiness


• Follow up proactively with team members and stakeholders, drive accountability and help ensure agreed tasks are completed on time


• Travel to project locations during critical testing phases to provide on-site leadership and support successful execution

Job Requirements

What We Expect of You

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Test Manager in large transformation projects, including responsibility for testing across multiple ERP implementations and EDI-related scope; experience with Infor ERP is an advantage


• Familiarity with unit testing and how it contributes to overall test readiness, alongside experience coordinating smoke testing, regression testing, SIT and UAT


• Solid understanding of core processes in the food and beverage industry


• Proficiency in MS Project or similar tools for test planning and timeline management, together with good knowledge of Jira and Zephyr Scale


• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, charts, formulas, functions, macros and dashboards


• Sound understanding of test automation concepts, processes and tools, with the ability to collaborate effectively with specialist teams


• Familiarity with ISTQB test management principles and methods


• Practical knowledge of IT service management, IT project management and change management


• Strong organisational, coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive approach and the ability to drive timely completion under pressure


• Willingness to travel to project locations during critical testing phases, estimated at 30% per year


• Ability to work effectively in a complex, collaborative matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural and geographically diverse setting


• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations


• A strong command of spoken and written English is required, and knowledge of German is considered a plus

Valuable Experience

• ISTQB Foundation Level or ISTQB Certified Test Manager certification


• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright or similar


• ITIL or PRINCE2 certification, or comparable project management credentials
