Overview

As a Security Architect II in the Security Operations Center, you will advise on mitigating attacks for managed security clients, protecting critical web applications and APIs and ensuring minimal impact on end users while addressing real‑time security concerns.

Responsibilities

• Devising and engaging mitigation strategies to prevent real‑time attacks using the company products and platform.
• Conducting advanced analysis to identify attacks and threats targeting digital properties, web applications, and APIs.
• Providing consultation and attack mitigation strategies to customers or peer teams based on analysis.

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience and a High School/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks, Streamlit, or Dash for rapid prototyping.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON parsing, data fetching, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with Git and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
• Clustering experience (esp. for anomaly detection).
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and foundational statistics (mean, median, mode, correlation).
• Understanding of protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, OWASP Top 10 and their relation to internet security risks.
• Knowledge of common attack preventive security techniques on Layer 7.
