Description

SAIC is seeking a Security Principal to support the US Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation (AFAMS) program in Kaiserslautern, Germany. AFAMS is responsible for the implementation, integration, and development of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) standards that support the US Air Force, Department of Defense, and mission partners.

The role of this position is to serve as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for the US Air Forces in Europe & Air Forces Africa Warfare Center (UAWC). Success in this position directly impacts the operational readiness of United States and partner military forces in Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Administering the SAP Nomination Process by processing, logging, and preparing incoming and outgoing SAP & SCI Nomination packages.
  • Conduct annual SETA requirements in conjunction with the program; provide security indoctrination, debriefings, pre/post Travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary.
  • Classified document & media control to include maintenance of logs tracking documents in transition.
  • Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government.
  • Administrative Security functions such as organizing and filing all administrative program security paperwork. Maintaining all end of day logs, safe checks, visitor logs and pass down logs.
  • Assist the government with physical security and provide security escorting for uncleared personnel as required.
  • Process and track incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests.
  • Conduct self-inspections; manage preparations for and representation of security inspections and audits by government security personnel.
Qualifications
  • Security Clearance: U.S. Citizen, active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain SAP & SCI access(es).
  • Bachelor's and nine (9) years, or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Direct SAP Security Program Management Experience: Experience coordinating SAP security functions within a DoD environment (PERSEC, PHYSEC).
  • Certifications: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
  • DISS/JADE Management: Experience managing Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Joint Access Database Environment.
  • Security Knowledge: Proficient in information, industrial, and personnel security concepts and practices.
Desired Experience/Qualifications
  • Additional Certification: DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification.
  • JWICS Management: Experience managing JWICS point-of-presence, terminals, and user accounts.
  • Expected Salary Range - Highly dependent on candidate qualifications.
  • $95,000 - $155,000/year
  • Additional Benefits - Dependent on personal eligibility and/or meeting length of employment requirements.
  • Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) Individual Logistics Support, including:
    • German tax exemption.
