A global financial institution in Frankfurt (Oder) seeks an experienced finance professional to join their Financial Resource Management team. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize transactions and support shareholder value. Candidates must possess over 10 years of relevant experience and have a university degree in finance or a related field. Bilingual proficiency in German and English is required. The Private Bank ("PB") serves over 20 million clients in 19 countries, offering a comprehensive range of financial services — from everyday banking to advanced advisory solutions for Private Banking and Wealth Management clients. In select markets such as Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and India, PB also supports entrepreneurs clients and small to medium-sized enterprises. As a core part of the Deutsche Bank Group, PB combines capital markets and financing expertise with a strong global network and cutting‑edge digital services.
This position sits in the Financial Resource Management ("FRM") team in the Banking, Lending and Investment Solutions ("BLIS") division. BLIS is responsible for the manufacturing and management of all Private Bank products globally including deposits, credit cards, mortgage loans, consumer loans, structured lending, capital markets, advisory and discretionary portfolio management. Within BLIS, FRM is responsible for steering and optimising the balance sheet and capital resources provided to the Private Bank, ensuring sustainable growth of the franchise, meeting clients’ needs in a competitive environment and optimising Shareholder Value Add.
Support the head of the team and be the subject matter expert within PB on true sale and SRT transactions
Collaborate with stakeholders in the Investment Bank, the Corporate Bank and all support functions and execute a target number of transactions per annum to support the PB growth plan
Prepare business cases to support an intense dialogue with PB senior management in the various regions to optimise Shareholder Value Add
Show agility and adapt the strategy to changing regulatory capital modelling frameworks and methodologies
Work closely with other areas of PB and the Deutsche Bank group
University degree in banking, finance, economics or other comparable business-related fields
At least 10 years of professional experience in securitisation or credit structuring areas
Thorough understanding of credit modelling standards including cash flow modelling and securitisation techniques
Good knowledge of retail and private banking products and prudential liquidity requirements applicable to banks
Excellent analytical skills to solve complex problems coupled with a business mindset. Ability to develop creative and structured solutions.
High level of personal initiative and commitment; ability to work independently
Ability to translate highly technical concepts into business actionable guidance and Exco level materials
Capacity to deliver under time pressure at the highest quality level and flexibility to adapt to changing parameters.
Ability to work effectively in a global team with a strong capability to motivate and encourage colleagues and to resolve conflicts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both German and English
