About the Role

We are seeking a Section 508 Document Remediation Specialist to ensure digital documents, web content, training materials, and multimedia products meet federal accessibility requirements. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with document remediation, accessibility testing, and quality assurance.

This is a fully remote position based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Review and remediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, web, and multimedia content for Section 508 compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• DHS Trusted Tester, IAAP CPACC, IAAP WAS, or related accessibility certification.

• Experience supporting higher education/federal government programs or contracts.

• Experience with SharePoint Online and accessible multimedia.

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• May need to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
