Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced SecOps professional in Germany to monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and conduct threat hunting with SIEM, EDR, and cloud platforms.

You will manage vulnerability assessments, develop detection logic, and support ISO 27001, SOC, GDPR compliance while coordinating disaster recovery activities and security automation initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience triaging, investigating, and responding to security alerts or incidents.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Defender for Endpoint, and Sentinel.
• Knowledge of back-office and network technologies.
• Experience building and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and ISO/GDPR compliance.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and investigate security alerts and incidents.
• Conduct threat hunting using SIEM, EDR, and cloud security platforms.
• Manage vulnerability scanning, assessment, prioritisation, and remediation tracking.
• Develop and maintain security monitoring rules and detection logic.
• Support incident response investigations and forensic activities.
• Administer Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra ID, and vulnerability tools.
• Review and improve security configurations across cloud and on-premises systems.
• Support third-party risk assessments and supplier security reviews.
• Assist with ISO 27001, SOC, Cyber Essentials, GDPR, and other compliance activities.
• Develop security automation, scripts, and operational procedures.
• Deliver security awareness guidance to business stakeholders.
• Manage disaster recovery plans and coordinate testing.
• Assist the infrastructure team with firewall, network, and core infrastructure management.
• Report to the SecOps Manager.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience triaging, investigating, and responding to security alerts or incidents
• Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Sentinel
• Advanced knowledge of back-office systems
• Good understanding of network technologies
• Experience building and maintaining infrastructure equipment on-premises and in a cloud environment
• Vulnerability management experience
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Windows Server
• Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
• Ability to work under pressure of tight timescales
• Adaptable and flexible
