Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Software Engineer to advance agentic search systems in production environments. This remote contract position focuses on owning relevance and retrieval processes to meet user needs, with emphasis on building scalable data infrastructure and evaluating impact.

You will work independently and asynchronously, contributing to the continuous improvement of search quality. Compensation is $80–$150 per hour, paid on completion of defined milestones.
