Search Marketing Manager Role (f/m/d)
Employment: Full-time 40 hours, fixed-term for 2 years, flexible working hours
Team: Bayer Performance Hub
Location: Düsseldorf, Leverkusen (Hybrid: 2 days on-site), Hamburg (possible)


Your mission

In this role, you will play a key part in implementing the Bayer brands such as Aspirin, Bepanthen, and Iberogast, and work closely with the Bayer Vital DE team. This combination gives you the opportunity to help shape a global brand in a dynamic, digital environment - while gaining valuable insights into both the corporate and scale-up worlds.

  • You will lead Bayer’s shopping-related search efforts by gaining a thorough understanding of search behavior in different product categories and determining the best way to position Bayer products
  • You will define and execute Amazon keyword bidding tactics for over 100 products across various health categories, aiming to expand our OTC market leader position at key intersections
  • You will develop a Google Shopping strategy to better align campaigns run via eRetailers with our brand positioning and growth objectives
  • You will own online shop search campaigns and establish a tracking approach for organic search visibility
  • You will contribute to one brand team as the eCom representative, helping to define a growth plan that reflects the dynamics of the eCom business

Your profile
  • You are skilled in shopper search analyses, leveraging Helium 10 and Google Keyword Planner to uncover evolving consumer journeys, search trends, and category growth drivers
  • You have a proven track record of achieving category-leading positions for products on Amazon – also leveraging ad tech platforms like AMC and PacVue/SKAI
  • You have initial experience in the OTC/Health Care category (preferred)
  • You have demonstrated success in managing a multi-partner setup for Google Shopping
  • You are fluent in both English and German
