A leading technology firm in Munich seeks a Scrum Master to facilitate communication and improve team dynamics within their agile development teams. The ideal candidate should have a Scrum certification and at least one year of experience as a Scrum Master, alongside strong skills in conflict resolution and team empowerment. You will join our Development team responsible for software and hardware designing producing and maintaining our autonomous mobile robots – arculees. You will be a part of a cross-functional agile international and distributed workforce creating the best possible experience for our users.
The Scrum Master facilitates communication and information exchange between internal groups.
Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Agile.
Guiding the Scrum Team and the Development of team on self‑organizing.
Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team. Helping the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the teams.
Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.
Building a trusting and safe environment with an emphasis on healing and problem‑solving.
Facilitating getting the work done without coercion assigning or dictating the work.
Creation of metrics to measure productivity and project progress to increase transparency.
Facilitating all the scrum events decision‑making and conflict resolution.
Supporting and educating the Product Owner especially concerning refining and managing the product backlog.
First level of Scrum Certification preferably PSM‑I
Solid computer science fundamentals with experience across a range of disciplines.
One year of relevant experience as a Scrum Master
Good skills and knowledge of facilitation situational awareness conflict resolution continuous improvement empowerment and increasing transparency.
Experience being on Scrum teams in a variety of contexts.
International experience is a plus
Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum including training conferences user groups self‑study etc.
Basic Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD etc.
