Zusammenfassung

WuXi AppTec Group in Germany seeks a Lab Scientist (m/f/d) with a TA/CTA/MTA or biology background to perform cell-based assays, culture cells, and develop new assay formats. You will document work following SOPs and analyze data with Excel and GraphPad Prism.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior scientists, contributing to study reports and scientific presentations in a dynamic life sciences environment. A permanent contract and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training as TA (BTA/CTA/MTA) or BA/MA in biology or related field.
• Hands-on cell culture experience (adherent and/or suspension).
• Experience with cellular assays and basic molecular biology techniques.
• Accurate, structured, reliable working style.
• Fluent English and German.
• Experience with 3D cell culture or organoids is a plus.

Overview

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Lab Scientist (m/f/d) with a background as Technical Assistant (BTA/CTA/MTA), Bachelor, or master's in biology, biotechnology, or related life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Perform cell-based assays (e.g., proliferation, viability, reporter assays, immunoassays, nanoBRET, etc.)
• Culture and maintain primary cells and cell lines,
• Establish, optimize, and validate new assay formats
• Document all work according to industry standards and internal SOPs
• Analyze and interpret experimental data (e.g., using Excel, GraphPad Prism)
• Collaborate closely with Senior Scientists and other laboratory teams
• Contribute to study reports and scientific presentation

Qualifications

• Completed training as TA (BTA/CTA/MTA) or a Bachelor's/master's degree in biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with cell culture (adherent and/or suspension)
• Practical experience with cellular assays and basic molecular biology techniques
• Accurate, structured, and reliable working style
• Strong team spirit and motivation to work in a dynamic environment
• Good command of English and German, both written and spoken
• Experience with 3D cell culture, Organoids is a plus
