As our Scientific Lead - Health Data Research, you will drive D4L’s scientific agenda and lead a growing team of researchers working with real‑world health data. You will oversee applied research projects, mentor junior scientists, and ensure scientific excellence across all studies.
In this role, you will bridge science, product, technology, and strategy, ensuring that D4L’s products and data infrastructure meet the needs of health research. You will represent D4L in the scientific community, contribute to publications, and play a key role in shaping our research strategy.
Data4Life is a nonprofit digital health organization headquartered in Potsdam supported by the Hasso Plattner Foundation, with additional locations in Berlin and Singapore. We make health data from diverse sources accessible, standardized, and secure - enabling responsible research to improve public health and personalized medicine. Our digital solutions support international standards such as FHIR and OMOP, and enable scalable digital research infrastructures with a strong focus on data sovereignty and transparency. We work with university hospitals and global research institutions to unlock the full potential of health data. In collaboration with Charité and Mount Sinai Health System, we are supporting cross‑border use cases based on millions of patient records. As a nonprofit, we prioritize social impact, data ethics, and open collaboration.
