Zusammenfassung

EagleBurgmann Germany GmbH & Co. KG. is seeking a Scientific Innovator to advance AI-driven engineering solutions across design automation, simulation and sensor-based optimization. You will build prototypes, refine models and contribute to scalable AI applications in R&D.

The role involves collaboration with international teams (DE/USA), transfer to Wolfratshausen after a three-year program, and a hybrid work setup in Germany.

Qualifikationen

  • Master’s degree or PhD in engineering, computational sciences, physics, materials, or related fields.
  • Experience in applied research or industrial development.
  • Skills in at least two: neural networks, GenAI/LLMs & agentic systems, surrogate models, data analytics, simulation (FEM/CFD), MLOps or platform development.
  • Strong programming skills (Python).
  • Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow; familiarity with GenAI tooling (LangChain) is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly in English and German; collaborative working style.

Aufgaben

  • Scout emerging technologies in AI, design automation, mechanical engineering, and simulation.
  • Develop prototypes and PoCs (neural networks, surrogate models, agentic workflows, LLM‑based engineering assistants).
  • Develop AI-driven models for condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and lifecycle optimization by integrating sensor data, simulation results, and engineering knowledge.
  • Conduct applied research: formulate hypotheses, train models, validate results, and analyze data.
  • Transfer research into robust, scalable solutions for engineering and operations.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product development teams in DE/USA.
  • Document results and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • After a three-year program in Weinheim, transfer to Wolfratshausen location focusing on AI-driven engineering solutions.

  • Scout emerging technologies in AI, design automation, mechanical engineering, and simulation

  • Document results and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
  • After a three-year program in Weinheim, transfer to our Wolfratshausen location – with a focus on the application and scaling of AI-supported engineering solutions in the area of R&D
