This position is for a School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing therapy services in an educational setting.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with tailored goals. Deliver direct therapy in individual and group formats, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate speech therapy strategies into classroom activities. Maintain accurate, confidential student records in compliance with regulations.
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field. Active Delaware SLP license required. Preferred credentials include the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA and experience in school, early childhood, or pediatric settings. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Provide comprehensive speech and language services to support students’ academic and social development, including therapy, assessments, and staff training. Document progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
