Job description

This is a full-time School Nurse position for Caesar Rodney School District. This is a regular, district-wide floating position.

Individuals who will be eligible or possess School Nurse certification are encouraged to apply. All candidates must apply online.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or School Nursing from a Regionally-Accredited college or university required.
• Must have completed three (3) years of Supervised Clinical Nursing Experience as a registered nurse consisting of a minimum of 500 hours per year, for a total of 1,500 hours during the three-year period. Experience working with pediatric/child population is preferred. This requirement shall not be met in a school setting.
• Registered professional nurse license, designated as R.N. as defined and determined by state law, and currently licensed in the state of Delaware or an active, unencumbered multi-state compact registered nurse license.
• Current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillator (AED) use.

SALARY:

In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

• All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
