Zusammenfassung

Exostaff GmbH is seeking an experienced space systems professional to support spacecraft operations across subsystems during validation, LEOP, commissioning, and routine ops. The role emphasizes AOCS experience and development of ground segment tools.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of Spacecraft Operations with subsystems or instruments during operational validation, LEOP, commissioning or routine operations.
• Experience in Satellite Performance Monitoring and anomaly analysis in liaison with satellite industry.
• Experience in development and validation of operational baseline (procedures, database) including validation tools.
• Experience in operation or development of satellite ground segment facilities, such as monitor and control, mission planning, on-board software management, performance analysis.

• Support operations preparation and routine operations in the service team.
• Contribute to GEO and/or LEO commissioning and end-of-life phases.
• Develop and validate procedures and validation tools for ground segment facilities.
• Monitor satellite performance and report anomalies in coordination with industry partners.

The ideal candidate:

In addition to having a university degree in a relevant technical discipline or the equivalent work experience, the applicant shall have experience in at least the following attributes:

Experience of Spacecraft Operations, with responsibility for one or more platform subsystems or instruments during operational validation, LEOP, commissioning or routine operations phases. Experience in the AOCS subsystem will be considered an advantage;

Experience of Spacecraft Operations Preparation, with responsibility on development and validation of operational baseline (procedures, database etc.) including validation tools (e.g., S/C simulator) and ground segment M&C facilities;

Experience in satellite performance monitoring and reporting aspects including anomaly analysis and solving in liaison with satellite industry, procedure change control and configuration management processes;

Experience in the operation or development of satellite ground segment facilities, in particular procedure development, monitor and control, mission planning, on-board software management, performance analysis, configuration management and simulator facilities.

Fluency in English is mandatory; this is the working language at EUMETSAT, and the Contractors must be able to work effectively in this language both in written and spoken form.
