Satellite Ground Segment Software Engineer

We are looking for a candidate to become Satellite Ground Segment Software Engineer (d/m/f) within Airbus Space Engineering, located in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Design and integration of (cloud) infrastructure for ground segments

• Coordination of hard- and software infrastructure components

• Maintenance support for customers

• Support proposals and new technologies (e.g. AI) for new ground segments

Desired skills and qualifications

• Degree in computer science or comparable

• Experience with software development/engineering (Agile development, Linux environments, DevOps, Cloud platform like Kubernetes) Infrastructure design and integration

• Experience with RedHat and RedHat OpenShift would be a plus

• Good communication and team skills

• Fluency in German & English
