You will lead lifecycle activities across data assessment, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover while driving data governance and quality with stakeholders and SAP experts.

Qualifikationen

• Ensured accuracy and completeness of all data loads into the SAP system.

Principal Consultant – Data Migration

Technology: S/4 Data Migration, ETL Tools (SAP Data services‑BODS/Information Steward/Informatica)

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Your Role

Responsible for defining and delivering the end‑to‑end data migration strategy for large‑scale transformations. Leads all phases of the migration lifecycle—including data assessment, profiling, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, mock loads, and cutover activities—to ensure high‑quality, business‑ready data in the target SAP environment.

Works closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and SAP experts to drive data governance, quality, and compliance while managing migration risks, dependencies, and timelines. Oversees the Data Migration Factory, provides leadership to global teams, and ensures a seamless cutover and successful go‑live with minimal business disruption.

Required

• At least 2 full‑cycle S/4HANA implementations with SAP data migration experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA migration tools.
• Coordinated and managed the development and maintenance of repeatable data load and migration processes for SAP implementations.
• Oversaw the Data Migration team responsible for extracting, cleansing, mapping, and loading master and transactional data from multiple sources into SAP systems.
• Expert guidance on data assessment processes and procedures.
• Accountability for ETL design and implementation.
• Proven ability to lead global cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder engagement across business, IT, SAP, and third‑party vendors.
• Expertise in defining and operating Data Migration Factory models, including delivery governance, KPI management, risk mitigation, and status reporting.
• Oversaw load programs using custom ABAP or SAP tools such as LSMW, LTMC/Migration Cockpit, ALE, etc.
• Managed and coordinated data load activities across all phases of migration.
• Worked closely with functional consultants to validate data and resolve errors.
• Ensured accuracy and completeness of all data loads into the SAP system.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading large‑scale SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations, including global template deployments, business process harmonization, and fit‑to‑standard transformations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP business processes and data models across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Asset Management domains.
• SAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA, Data Migration, SAP Data Services (BODS), MDG, or related SAP technologies.
• Experience leading SAP S/4HANA Data Migration engagements in Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Retail, and D2C/E‑Commerce industries.
• German language level C1.
