Infosys Germany is seeking a Lead Principal Consultant for Data Migration in SAP S/4HANA across multiple German sites, with Frankfurt as a primary focus. You will define end-to-end migration strategies and lead global teams responsible for data assessment, cleansing, mapping, and cutover.

• Coordinate and manage a repeatable data load and migration process for SAP implementations.
• Oversee data load from multiple sources into SAP systems including master and transactional data.
• Provide expert guidance on data assessment processes and ETL design.
• Lead global cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Define and operate Data Migration Factory models including governance, KPI management, risk mitigation, and status reporting.
• Oversee load programs using ABAP or SAP tools such as LSMW, LTMC/Migration Cockpit, ALE.
• Coordinate data load activities across all phases of migration.
• Work with functional consultants to validate data and resolve errors.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all data loads into the SAP system.

Your Role

As the Data Migration- Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the end-to-end data migration strategy for a large-scale transformation. You will lead all phases of the migration lifecycle, including data assessment, profiling, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, mock loads, and cutover activities to ensure high-quality, business-ready data in the target SAP environment.

Working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and SAP experts, you will drive data governance, quality, and compliance while managing migration risks, dependencies, and timelines. You will oversee the Data Migration Factory, provide leadership to global teams, and ensure a seamless cutover and successful go-live with minimal business disruption.

Required

• SAP data migration experience, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA migration tools
• Coordinate and manage the development and maintenance of a repeatable data load and migration process for SAP implementations.
• Collaborate with the client to oversee the Data Migration team responsible for identifying, extracting, cleansing, mapping, and loading master and transactional data from multiple sources into SAP systems.
• Provide expert guidance on data assessment processes and procedures.
• Advise and take accountability for ETL design and implementation.
• Proven ability to lead global cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder engagement across business, IT, SAP, and third-party vendor organizations.
• Expertise in defining and operating Data Migration Factory models, including delivery governance, KPI management, risk mitigation, and status reporting.
• Oversee load programs using custom ABAP or SAP tools such as LSMW, LTMC/Migration Cockpit, ALE, etc.
• Manage and coordinate data load activities across all phases of migration.
• Work closely with functional consultants to validate data and resolve errors.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all data loads into the SAP system.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations, including global template deployments, business process harmonization, and fit-to-standard transformations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP business processes and data models across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Asset Management domains.
• SAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA, Data Migration, SAP Data Services (BODS), MDG, or related SAP technologies are highly desirable.
• Experience leading SAP S/4HANA Data Migration engagements in Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Retail, and D2C/E-Commerce industries will be preferred.
• German Language level C1
