Your Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Expert to design, implement, and optimize integration solutions that support SUSONITY’s global digital ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting end-to-end integrations across SAP and non-SAP applications, ensuring secure, scalable, and seamless data exchange. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technical teams, translate requirements into robust integration designs, and lead the implementation of best-practice integration frameworks. The position also plays a key role in maintaining integration governance, ensuring system reliability, and driving continuous improvement to support our vision for operational excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of SAP integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), API Management, and other middleware technologies.
• Develop integration strategies, standards, reusable components, and best-practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to identify integration points and define optimal solution architectures.
• Oversee the design and execution of API-based, event-driven, and cloud-to-cloud integrations.
• Manage integration governance, including version control, documentation, testing standards, and lifecycle management.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, performance optimization, and guidance to development teams.
• Support production operations, including issue resolution, monitoring, incident management, and continuous performance improvement.

Who you are

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP CPI, SAP API Management, and the SAP Cloud Integration Suite.
• Proven experience with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, and other integration protocols.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, S/4HANA environments, and connectivity with non-SAP systems.
• Solid understanding of security standards and protocols such as OAuth, SAML, SSL, and related certificate management.
• Minimum 8+ years of SAP integration experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.
• SAP Integration Suite or CPI certification is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Experience with project management, integration planning, and process optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional global teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory or sustainability-related requirements is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
