Tenthpin is seeking an SAP ABAP Development Expert to join our growing team in Germany. The role focuses on ABAP development within S/4HANA environments, including ABAP in Eclipse, CDS Views, and modern integration approaches.

You will design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and enhancements, collaborate with clients, and contribute to projects across the lifecycle. Fluent German and English are required, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of ABAP development experience within S/4HANA environments.
• Experience working with CDS Views, OData APIs and REST services.
• Experience building enhancements aligned with clean core principles.
• Experience working on S/4HANA implementation projects, including at least one full lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and modern extensibility approaches.
• Experience collaborating with clients in a consulting or professional services environment.
• SAP certifications in ABAP or related technologies are desirable.
• Fluent in German & English, any additional language is a plus.

The successful applicant will have strong technical expertise in developing applications using ABAP within S/4HANA environments, including modern development approaches such as ABAP in Eclipse. The Opportunity

As an SAP ABAP Development Expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP programs and enhancements to support our clients’ needs within S/4HANA environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and enhancements within S/4HANA environments.
• Contribute to modern ABAP development using ABAP in Eclipse, supporting clean core principles.
• Develop and expose Core Data Services using OData and RESTful approaches.
• Collaborate with integration and technical teams to support S/4HANA and SAP BTP architectures.
• Collaborate with functional colleagues and clients to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Your Experience

You are a technically strong developer with good communication skills and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality solutions. Relevant SAP capabilities include:

• 5+ years of ABAP development experience within S/4HANA environments.
• Experience working with CDS Views, OData APIs and REST services.
• Experience building enhancements aligned with clean core principles.
• Experience working on S/4HANA implementation projects, including at least one full lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture and modern extensibility approaches.
• Experience collaborating with clients in a consulting or professional services environment.
• SAP certifications in ABAP or related technologies are desirable.
• Fluent in German & English, any additional language is a plus.
