Airbus Defence and Space GmbH is seeking an SAP BI Technology Specialist in Germany (d/f/m) to drive end-to-end BI solutions, focusing on SAP BW/BW4HANA developments and SAPBO reporting tools. You will act as digital focal point for BI requirements, translating business needs into actionable BI strategies.

The role requires strong ABAP/SQL, English fluency and good German, with opportunities across nearshore/offshore teams and international collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience in Business Intelligence with SAP BW/BW4HANA
• Experience with SAP BO reporting tools (Lumira, Analysis for Office, Web Intelligence) and SAC/BPC
• Strong ABAP and SQL knowledge; familiarity with SAP technologies (BDC, CDS, UI5) is a plus

In this role, you act as the digital focal point and subject matter expert for Business Intelligence reporting requirements, driving end-to-end solutions focused on business value, user experience, and continuous innovation within an evolving environment.

Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Lead BI Solution Design & Strategy: Analyze business requirements, translate them into digital solutions, and contribute to defining the overarching BI strategy, roadmap, and standards.
• Deliver End-to-End Solutions: Design, develop, and implement high-quality BI solutions adhering to development guidelines while prioritizing user experience and business outcome.
• Drive Agile Project Delivery: Deliver projects on time, on quality, and on cost using agile methodologies to implement new functionalities based on business processes.
• Manage Landscape Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new tools and updates while continuously driving simplification and consolidation of the application landscape.
• Coordinate Global Development & Change: Direct internal nearshore and offshore team activities and lead change management efforts post-deployment.
• Provide Expert Advisory: Advise on the scoping, deployment, maintenance, and evolution of relevant BI information systems while coordinating communication across digital areas.

Desired Skills And Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
• Core BI Expertise: Extensive experience (preferably 5+ years) in Business Intelligence, with mandatory technical expertise in SAP BW and BW/4HANA developments.
• Reporting & Analytics Tools: Mandatory experience with Business Objects reporting tools (Lumira, Analysis for Office, Web Intelligence) as well as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and BPC projects; BO administration skills are desirable.
• Programming & Technologies: Strong knowledge of ABAP and SQL; experience with SAP BDC, Datasphere, Databricks, UI5, Fiori, CDS, or ODATA is beneficial.
• Project & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to work proactively with stakeholders across the project lifecycle under strict timelines in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
• Problem-Solving & Communication: Excellent analytical capabilities, decision-making skills, and effective communication to engage business stakeholders.
• Languages & Access Requirements: Advanced proficiency in English and good German skills.
