Your Contribution
  • Drive sales growth and achieve KPIs (revenue, gross margin, share of wallet) within your assigned region
  • Develop new business opportunities and secure orders, including adjacent industries
  • Prepare and negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and forecasts in close alignment with internal stakeholders
  • Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally
  • Monitor market trends and competitors, sharing insights to support strategic decisions
  • Maintain accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systems
  • Represent SCHOTT at trade shows and cross-functional meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams(Finance, Operations, Marketing) to execute regional strategy.
Your Profile
  • Educational Background & Experience: Master’s degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline, combined with at least 5 years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environment
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high‑value customers
  • Communication & Interpersonal Competence: Fluent in English (additional skills in German is a plus) and skilled in building trustful relationships across functions and cultures within a matrix organization
  • Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities; willingness to travel internationally as required
